We're enjoying a brief respite from what has turned out to be a pretty intense winter. All the snow has melted, and it's not quite cold enough to make my ears hurt on my walk home from work if I don't wear a hat. I'm really looking forward to some more snow. I'd like to produce at least one habitable igloo this season. I just didn't have the time with that last batch of snow.
My brother Tom is now in Texas at Fort Hood training for a stint in the Middle East. He'll probably be there for a couple months before deploying to his final location. We love you Tom, and we're extremely grateful for the sacrifices you are making to serve our country. We're thinking about and praying for you.
